Bluebird £32, Royal Garden £45, the Milestone and Mandarin Oriental £85: eight Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge afternoon teas with times and booking.

Most people booking afternoon tea here land on the Milestone opposite Kensington Gardens, the Kensington on Queen’s Gate, Mandarin Oriental’s Rosebery in Knightsbridge or the Berkeley’s Goûtea. Bluebird on the King’s Road is the cheapest we found, at £32. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own website and menu on 27 October 2026.

We have not had tea at any of these places for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the hotel or restaurant says about its tea and what its current menu lists, with prices as printed. We add the Food Standards Agency (FSA) hygiene rating from the public register. All eight are rated 5, the top score.

How we chose

These are the afternoon teas people in Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge search for, chosen for longevity, awards the venues publish and a menu we could read on their own site, not for taste. Most are hotels, because that is where afternoon tea is served round here. Prices, times and menus come from each venue’s own website and menu on 27 October 2026; seasonal menus change, so check before you book. Hygiene ratings come from the FSA register, and nothing rated below 3 was considered. We left out tea rooms whose current menu or hours we could not confirm on a page they run, and the Peggy Porschen parlour on the King’s Road, whose website no longer names a Chelsea address.
