Christian Dimarco plays didjeridu, flutes and singing bowls at The Amadeus, Little Venice, Fri 20 Nov, 7pm to 9pm. Tickets £45, or £35 each in fours.

Christian Dimarco, an Australian multi-instrumentalist who leads what he calls sound journeys, is bringing a two-hour evening of live didjeridu, world flutes, tribal percussion, singing bowls and voice to The Amadeus in Little Venice on Friday 20 November.

Into Stillness runs from 7pm to 9pm at The Amadeus, 50 Shirland Road, W9 2JA, just over the borough boundary in Westminster and about a mile and a half north-east of Notting Hill Gate. The nearest station is Warwick Avenue. It is organised by Holistique, the London events company that told us about it.

The overnight one in W14

The next night, Saturday 21 November, Holistique runs a longer event much closer to home: Sacred Sounds: An Overnight Journey with Music and Gongs at Colet House, 151 Talgarth Road, W14 9DA, in Barons Court. Dimarco is one of the performers named on its Eventbrite page, alongside Lawrence Ball, Nicolas Horvath, Gareth Wilkins and Gina Fergione.

Doors open at 8pm with last entry at 9pm. A breathwork session at 9:15pm leads into a sound journey that runs from 9:30pm to 6:30am on piano, harp, gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, flute and voice, followed by silence, an optional sharing circle and departure by 8am. You sleep there, so the organiser asks for a padded mat or air mattress, a sleeping bag or blanket, pillows and an eye mask; tea is provided.

Tickets on Dandelion are £99.99, £188.88 for two or £266.64 for three, and they are non-refundable but can be passed to a friend. The listing says the night is not suitable for people with pacemakers, sound-sensitive epilepsy or serious psychiatric conditions, and asks anyone in the first trimester of pregnancy to check with their care provider first.
