We checked 6 places selling real Christmas trees near Kensington, from Notting Hill to the Chelsea Gardener, for 2026 prices and dates. Updated November 2026.
Six places sell real Christmas trees in or close to Kensington and Chelsea in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and delivery areas. Most people land on Pines and Needles, whose pitch in the churchyard of St John’s, Notting Hill, delivers to W8, W11 and W14; The Chelsea Gardener on Sydney Street; and Creekside Christmas if you would rather not carry a tree at all. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.
We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. The pop-up pitches only open in mid-November, so check the dates before you walk over.

Also worth knowing
- Getting rid of the tree: last winter Kensington and Chelsea ran free drop-off points from 28 December to 18 January, including Emslie Horniman Park, Avondale Park and Holland Park car park. The 2026 to 2027 dates are not out yet; our Christmas bin collections page will carry them.
- Trees for the garden: Pines and Needles sells pot-grown trees as well as cut ones, and Creekside lists outdoor trees; RBKC’s own advice is that composting is the greenest way to dispose of a cut tree.
- More for December: Christmas markets in Kensington, Christmas shopping in Kensington, ice rinks near Kensington, Chelsea Winter Village, what’s on this month and things to do in Kensington.
How we chose
We looked for sellers with a pitch, shop or delivery area covering the Kensington Post area (W8, W10, W11, W14, SW3, SW5, SW7, SW10 and SW1X), and kept only those whose own sites give their dates, hours or prices for this season. We left out the W6 Garden Centre in Ravenscourt Park and Clifton Nurseries in Maida Vale, which have sold trees in past years but say nothing about trees for 2026 on their own pages yet, and Rassells on Earl’s Court Road, whose website no longer responds. We have not found a church or school tree sale in the borough this year; if you run one, we would like to add it.
