Belgian girls' choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers bring their 30th anniversary tour to Cadogan Hall on 30 September, its only UK stop. Tickets £35.50 to £50.50.
The Belgian girls’ choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers will play Cadogan Hall on Sloane Terrace on Wednesday 30 September at 7pm. It is the only UK date on a European tour marking 30 years of the choir.
The show is called Scala 30. Tickets cost £35.50 to £50.50.
The choir is not new to the hall. Its promoter, Goldups Lane, says the September concert follows Scala’s Cadogan Hall debut in 2025.

Who they are
Scala sings rock, metal, pop, dance and hip-hop songs as choral pieces. Two brothers direct it: Stijn Kolacny conducts, and Steven Kolacny plays piano and writes the arrangements.
The promoter describes the anniversary show as “stunning, unique reinterpretations of iconic pop and rock anthems brought to life through pure, harmonious voices, captivating piano accompaniments, and exquisite visual and choreographic elements.”
“Every note is carefully crafted to surprise, move and inspire,” the press release says.
Where you may have heard them
Goldups Lane says the choir has become “a familiar name in Hollywood and the international film and television industry”. Its list of credits includes two films nominated for Academy Awards:
- The Social Network
- Zero Dark Thirty
And these television series:
- Sex Education
- The Simpsons
- Homeland
- Downton Abbey
- Lucifer
- Desperate Housewives
- Sons of Anarchy
- Nikita
Two music documentaries also use the choir’s recordings, according to the release. Its version of Smells Like Teen Spirit is in Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck. Its You Oughta Know features in the documentary about Alanis Morissette’s album Jagged Little Pill.
On stage
The promoter says Scala performs “dozens of concerts across Europe every year” and has done so for nearly three decades. Its shows pair the singing with a visual production.
In Goldups Lane’s words, they are “transforming familiar songs into entirely new musical experiences.”
